I was given the opportunity in late 1999 to work freelance for a label I had always loved. Dollhouse was a pioneer in the 90's of a new classification of fashion - Streetwear. There was no other label in the US doing streetwear like they were on such a global scale and I was super excited to get the chance to work for them.
The job quickly became full time and I was promoted to Head Designer. Within my stay at Dollhouse, I designed mainly their domestically produced line (yes.....clothing WAS made in the USA as a given back then!).
We were accepted to show our line at both Fashionably Loud, a popular music and fashion special that aired on MTV as well as a part of Girls Rule during NY fashion week at Bryant Park.
A special thanks to Albert, Bobby and Dorene.
